The Story Of Coffee

The amazing story of coffee begins in the mountains of Yemen, where it was first discovered. In 1450, Sufi Monks were the first humans to discover, plant, and brew coffee as we know it today. Its popularity grew within the community, and it began to be widely consumed. Coffee was then transported from Yemen's highlands by camel, and the port of Al Mokha became famous for shipping tons of coffee beans.

By 1650, it had gained popularity worldwide, leading to the opening of coffee shops in Europe by the 17th century,. These coffee shops became places of focus and creation, where many famous writers gathered to share their ideas, their work and create new art!
